Project Scandal

Following research on "Feminist pornography" and cases of sex-positive attitudes in the art field in Lebanon, I decided to observe and experience shooting a sexually daring film in Lebanon with local performers. The script is based on the true-story narrative of a scandal touching an erotic performer of Lebanese descent. The process of filming this work almost constitutes a tautology of its narrative as the filming became scandalous by itself and several scenes or elements in the scenes had to be canceled or cut out.

Project Scandal is the result of that shoot. An almost daring, rather visually poetic, short story narrating a scandal, whilst the original script and intention was for it to be a scandal by itself.
