Say what you want! I will be very happy!
This documentary celebrates the life of the young black peripheral poet Daniel Marques, who, in addition to being an artist and actor, was a cultural activist. In 2017, unfortunately, Daniel committed suicide, leaving questions about the mental health of black youth and elaborating the mourning that not only encompasses Daniel's death, but also an entire system of racial exclusion that sickens us.

Renato Candido is a black filmmaker graduated in 2007 in Audiovisual by ECA/USP. Since 2011, Renato Candido has a master's degree in Communication Sciences and in 2022 he graduated with a doctorate in Audiovisual Media and Processes, always at the same institution. In his Masters, Renato developed a script for a fictional series focused on the representation of black women in our society and in our audiovisual. Currently this work is in the post-production process through short notices and the Aldir Blanc Law. In his doctorate, Renato Candido analyzed the current situation and the historical process of how racism crosses public policies for audiovisual financing and how the implementation of affirmative action policies for Afro-Brazilians in the Brazilian audiovisual sector is important.
This documentary is my first feature film made. The film complied with protocols aimed at recording in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and was entirely shot in the city of São Paulo.
