Saxon Moen is a filmmaker living in Santa Monica, California. He attended Chapman University’s graduate film program where he made his graduate thesis film, Paper Roses, an award winning short film. Since graduating from film school in 2003, he has shot several shorts, music videos and features as a DP/camera operator and edited many shorts and music videos. He has also worked as a coordinator and supervisor at several post-production facilities. He recently spent the past 4 years shooting and finishing his first feature film, The Debt Of Maximillian. A story about two brothers in which one of them has a gambling addiction the other knows nothing about. Saxon finds himself more drawn to the technical side of filmmaking such as photography and color grading, but wants to explore more of the creative and emotional side of storytelling. He really enjoyed the grueling process of filmmaking, but wants to improve as a storyteller. Right now he is writing various screenplays, two of which continues this story of addiction.
