In Rome, Leo and Antoine, two struggling private investigators, try to make ends meet with small-time cases and unpaid bills. The city is shaken by the "Killer of the Roses," a mysterious murderer who targets men and leaves a red rose beside her victims. Aware of their limited resources, the two decide to stay out of the case.

However, their encounter with Mia, a young woman with enigmatic charm and ambiguous intentions, forces them to reconsider. Drawn into a series of events beyond their control, Leo and Antoine find themselves navigating through absurd situations, clumsy investigations, and a Rome that increasingly resembles a theater of the surreal.

As the suspects multiply and the pressure mounts, the two detectives struggle to solve the case of the "Killer of the Roses," while trying to avoid losing their lives—or at least their dignity—along the way.
