Unfortunately, these landscapes are deemed as “wastelands” and are not conserved as priority landscapes. Not only these habitats harbour precious wildlife but they are resilient and reliable ancient storages of carbon. Millions of people depend on these grasslands for their livelihood. This short film showcases these aspects and urges the viewers to understand their importance for the long-term betterment of the people and the wildlife.
