I am a Director/Writer with a passion for discovery. I have worked TV/film production for over a decade, with a lot of learning years inclusive.
My feature film directorial debut, 'Veve' (2014) won several local and regional awards and is currently streaming on Netflix. Veve was shown at various film festivals including the Hamburg and Durban film festivals amongst others. In 2018, I released a documentary film, 'Saving Stripes', which shares the story of how a nomadic community is working to save the endangered Grevy's zebra.
I am especially keen to tell and show our African stories to the world.
"Saving Stripes" is the story of the Samburu, a nomadic people from northern Kenya and how through they are fighting as a community to save the endangered Grevy's Zebra.
