Saving Barrie's Lake
Saving Barrie’s Lake is a 20 minute environmental documentary that weaves together the story of Barrie’s Lake, a provincially significant wetland home to a diverse range of plants and animals, with the overarching issue of disappearing wetland ecosystems in Southern Ontario – an area in which over 70% have been lost. Barrie’s Lake landowners have fought to protect the rare ecosystem from development for over 25 years and fear that it will become a part of this statistic.
