Director Biography - Tyrone Mckie

Tyrone Mckie is a multi-disciplinary artist, based in Jamaica. They discovered their passion for art in high school with photography, but over the years they have worked with many mediums, eventually finding collage art in 2018 and honing it from 2020 onwards. They mainly use digital collage and illustration to conjure their ideas and synthesize interests. They engage with themes of love, mental health, identity, capitalism, music, escapism and nature. Through these themes they aim to reflect their inner world, and show the interconnectedness of everything, while spreading a message of love.
