Sarine Arslanian is a documentary filmmaker, writer, visual anthropologist and holistic therapist whose work explores the depths of who we are and how we connect — with ourselves, each other and the natural world.
Rooted in a deep commitment to storytelling as a path of transformation, her projects weave together themes of embodied wisdom, holistic healing and community development. Through a poetic and intimate lens, she creates cinematic experiences that invite reflection, foster empathy and awaken a deeper sense of interconnectedness — bridging personal transformation with collective experience to inspire healing, cooperation and meaningful change.
Her latest short film, Doon, is a dance-based, visceral exploration of return — an embodied remembering of place, loss and homecoming. Rooted in the landscapes of her Armenian lineage, Doon emerges as a cinematic offering to the body’s knowing, ancestral memory and the subtle spaces where transformation begins.
