Sardinia-Dakar, Surrounded by water

The documentary narrates the experience of the sports-humanitarian project "Sardinia Dakar," carried out by the sports association Progetto ALbatroSS. The project aims to build a transcultural bridge between Sardinia and Senegal, specifically between the city of Porto Torres (with the island of Asinara) and Gorée (the UNESCO World Heritage Slave Island). The screening provides a valuable opportunity to reflect on some of today's major issues: the right not to emigrate and the migration problem, the promotion of inclusive sports, and sports conceived as a tool for connection and communication between different cultures.
