Santa's on the Naughty List

Santa and his Elves are “real” in this world, but it’s all a front. The Claus family are technologically more advanced than the rest of the world and use their tech and know-how to bring a touch of magic and happiness to the world.

Santa’s not coping well with Christmas this year. The stress of world wide overnight delivery has taken its toll on this now beer-bellied, stubble-faced, alcoholic, drug-using womaniser. Whilst doing recon for the deliveries in December, Santa brings a lot of alcohol onto his sleigh and starts drink-flying like there is no tomorrow.

This is a holiday short NOT made for children and a Christmas film for people who deteste the traditional holiday entertainment or for people who just want to enjoy this holiday in a more ‘adult’ setting.

Director Biography - Nathan Mountain

Nathan Mountain is part of a small indie film group called 'Ravenwolf Pictures', who are based in the South of the UK. He also recently left full time work with a video agency in Basingstoke called 'Face TV', who are an official sponsor for the very popular local film festival, 'Exit 6'.

Nathan started his creative career by using Premiere Pro at the age of 13, making small YouTube videos every now and then, which eventually led him on to finding his true passion for Film and TV in 2015.

He started creating as a duo in 2017 just after finishing an education in Creative Media where he gained the highest possible qualification for the subject, whilst also winning an award for being one of the best entrepreneurs in his local area.

His directorial debut was a 'Behind the Scenes' mini doc for a short film called 'Dead Air' in 2018, directed by Geoff Harmer and written by Peter Hearn. Peter, who used to be one of Nathan's lecturers, also wrote and created Star Wars lead actor Daisey Ridley's first ever feature film called 'Scrawl'.

At the end of 2019, Nathan was a co-Director of Photography with his partner in film, and he was the colorist, visual and sound editor for a short by Kristen Brookman called 'Uninspired Moments'.

At the beginning of 2020, Nathan finished his, and the duo's, first ever official short film called "Modern Lifetime", which was not their first piece of narrative work, but their first official film that they decided they would enter into festivals. The film is special for them as they entered into a specific film festival that only allowed mobile phones to be used as cameras and it had to be a maximum of 3 minutes long, so they thought it would be a good way to challenge themselves by including many limitations.
