Sandy Thomson is a Writer / Director based on in Scotland. She has written for and directed film and theatre, alternative reality games as well as audio and visual journeys. She is the recipient of a Playwright Studio Scotland Award and in 2020 was selected for The New York Women in Film and Television The Writer’s Lab as well as Scotland’s curated screenwriting development program Write4Film. Her published plays have been Critics Award nominated, received 5 star reviews as well as inclusion in international showcases. Commissions include The National Theatre of Scotland, Dundee Rep, Cultura Inglesa Festival and The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Her feature film directing debut, A Sharp Arrow, is currently in development.
