20-year-old filmmaker from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Giullia Pontual has worked as director in 2 student short films. As art director, she has worked in several small productions, some which have been selected by international film festivals such as Lift-Off's First time Filmmaker Sessions and the Cayenne Film Festival.

Director Statement

My vision is to use fantasy as an instrument to analyze something unspoken in human relations. A ghost is not just a ghost, it is a representation of something we crave to forget but are unable to. Every fiction is an inate reflection of its author, and mine is just a bit more literal.
