Director Statement

I enjoy movies that end and then I think about them for some time. Films that give me food for thought are films that are successful for me. I want to push people to question themselves, question their beliefs and their actions, reconsider how they see life and what could be done differently in their lives. The characters in “Summer” are facing many internal objectives and will have to find ways to overcome them. This project is aiming at causing the realisation of being able to view the world from a different perspective. Reconsider the meaning of “ friendship”, “love”, “reality”, “fantasy”. Think about their dreams, their goals, but also, remember that death is always on the horizon. We, unfortunately, or fortunately, do not live forever so the film wants to set a question to the audience about what can everyone do for themselves to enjoy life a bit more and be sure that they are making the “right” choices for them. What is “right” and what is “wrong” after all?
