Samantha Sturgis is an actress, model, filmmaker, music artist, and figure skater originally from Miami, Florida. She has an extensive educational background in acting, both theatrical and on-screen, and has starred in student films, straight plays, musicals, feature films, and her own personal projects. She can be seen in the award winning feature film, ‘Haze,’ directed by Alejo Arana. Her range in film includes directing, scriptwriting, and editing, as she has done so in her newest short film ‘A Mother’s Love’ (2024). Samantha has trained film acting at the New York Film Academy, while also gaining theatre education at Florida Southern College and is currently studying filmmaking at Miami Dade College’s School of Entertainment and Design Technology, where she has gained an Adobe Premiere Pro certification and Business Industry Operations certification as well as a certification in Film Production Fundamentals. Her goal includes spreading her personal styles of film while enhancing the industry’s appreciation of minority woman in the field.
