Samantar (A Fight for Equality)
There is a countrywide protest for transgender equality. Activists are fighting to provide opportunities towards transgender employment and equal rights as an Indian citizen. The film aims to encapsulate this world of protests by the tran-community while we also hear the first hand experience of two transgender women Mahi and Shyamily, who have been employed at a cafe and a salon respectively in Mumbai, which is completely run by the trans community.
