Salt Water Taffy
Saltwater Taffy shows us there are two types of people in this world. Those honor a contract and those that do not. In this Dark Comedy a landlord is here to collect, and the tenant is not having it. Hopefully a little taffy will help smooth things over.

Michael Benedetti is the son of Myriam Benedetti Dau and Javier Benedetti. He is a first generation American and dual citizen of Colombia after both his parents immigrated. He attributes much of his creative nature to his upbringing in both Latin American culture and that of the South.
"I believe I was afforded the opportunity to view the world through two different lenses. It gave me a great appreciation for my parents courageousness in leaving what they had built in Colombia and starting over in the United States."
Michael attended the University of West Georgia where he graduated with a bachelors degree in Marketing with a focus in advertisement. He attributes most of his work ethic and leadership skills to his parents and DeMolay (Which he was a member of in his youth). Michael has always been fascinated with the arts especially film. Since the age of 16 he knew he wanted to be a director.
Before starting his film career he grew up working in Bars and restaurants cultivating a love of food and beverages.
Michael has been working in the Film and Television industry for four years getting his start on the Warner Brothers TV Show, The Vampire Diaries. This is actually where the inspiration came from for his first short film Salt Water Taffy.
I believe film is the greatest form of communication we can explore. You do not need to speak a word and the sounds and images can deliver a message. If you close your eyes and listen to an actor’s performance you can feel and relate to there emotion.
