Saint Drogo
Caleb has been plagued by nightmares about an ex who had been working in Provincetown, MA but now won't return his calls. Under the guise of taking a respite, he convinces his boyfriend Adrian to trek down to the Cape Cod town in the offseason of winter. When they arrive, Caleb's ex is nowhere to be found, and the locals provide no help. As Caleb's dreams continue to haunt him, he becomes more determined to find his ex, even as the search puts more strain on his relationship. But the more he persists in his search, the closer he nears the sinister secret the town is hiding.

Michael J. Ahern and Brandon Perras-Sanchez are New England natives currently residing in Providence, RI. Their debut feature, Death Drop Gorgeous was the Audience Award Winner at both Salem Horror Fest and Wicked Queer: Boston's LGBTQ Film Fest. They're inspired by folk horror, magical realism, micro budget filmmaking, and the local community of Providence. SAINT DROGO is their second feature film
Similar to the spirit of Death Drop Gorgeous, SAINT DROGO delves into real life horrors of the LGBTQ community but this time through a folk-horror lens. At its center, the story is about the disintegration of a relationship, plagued by the pressures of assimilation into gay culture and co-dependency. Set on the backdrop of Provincetown in the offseason, the film explores the insidious nature of addiction, and the ways gentrification destroys a thriving art scene. We, as queer men, often make concessions to our identities to feel a sense of belonging not only within our community, but also within our relationships. Saint Drogo is an exploration of that loss of self.
