Sahasrara International Film Festival (SIFF) is organized to identify and promote the international talents in film making. The art of film making undergoes drastic changes in terms of artistic, technological and social developments around the world. SIFF is an opportunity for film makers from all over the world to understand, analyze and improvise the new changes in film making. Planned to be one of the largest and most sought-after film festivals in the world, SIFF will be a cherishable memory for film fraternity around the globe.
Sahasrara International Film Festival will be conducted in the first week of December every year at the picturesque and adorable city of Trivandrum in Kerala. Almost at the southern tip of Asian sub-continent, and being one of the most beautiful tourist destinations, Trivandrum sets the right arena for SIFF. SIFF welcomes film makers, artists and technical crew, journalists and all those are associated with film industry and film making to come and participate in this festival.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Feature films of more than 60 minutes of run time, Documentaries of more than 10 minutes of run time and short films of more than 10 minutes and less than 60 minutes of run time of any genre are accepted into the Sahasrara International Film Festival.
Films of origin of all the countries from around the world, of any language with English Sub-title are accepted into the Sahasrara International Film Festival.
Films which are produced before September 30th, 2021 are accepted into the Sahasrara International Film Festival.
By submitting a film to Sahasrara International Film Festival (SIFF), the submitter/film maker hereby irrevocably offers SIF, the right to screen the Film at screening locations of SIFF at times to be determined by the Festival Management in its sole discretion. This right of the festival to screen the film at the event/screening locations will not be construed as an obligation in any way to any party.
Submitter understands and agrees that once Festival accepts Submitter’s film for the Festival, Submitter shall have no right to remove the Film from the Festival.
Submitter irrevocably grants Festival the right to use, for promotional purposes, a trailer from the Film if the Film is selected for screening at the festival.
If a Film is accepted by the festival, an exhibition copy of the film must be provided to the festival on or prior to the stated deadline, which will be a minimum of two (2) week from the date of notification. Blu-ray is the festival’s default format for live, physical screening events. File sharing and streaming platform uploads are also accepted at the festival’s sole discretion.
By submitting a film, the Submitter agrees to and abides by the Festival's Rules & Terms as communicated to the submitter by the festival.
If the Film is revised or re-edited between the date of submission and the date of screening, Festival shall have the right to choose which version of the Film to screen, in the festival’s sole discretion.
Festival reserves the right to revoke selection of the Film for screening if Festival determines, in its sole discretion, if it becomes necessary. Even if Festival revokes selection of the Film for cause, the terms of this Agreement shall remain binding and in force.
The submitter hereby assures that he/she accepts the terms of this Agreement as Producer/Right Holder or their authorized representative; and that all information he/she has provided during submission of film is accurate and may be used by Festival for promotional purposes.
Submitter shall indemnify and hold Sahasrara International Film Festival harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim in connection with the Film involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and/or loss of or damage to the screening videos submitted. In particular, Submitter expressly warrants it has obtained all necessary copyright clearances for original works of authorship used in the Film.
If the Film is selected as an official film of the festival and is not removed from the Festival for cause, Submitter shall have the right to promote the Film as an Official Selection of the Sahasrara International Film Festival. Any award and nomination granted to Submitter may be promoted in perpetuity.
Festival will pay Submitter no additional compensation, for example screening fees or travel expense reimbursement, nor be liable to Submitter under any circumstances.
The Festival shall not be responsible for cancellation, postponement, change of format (e.g., an online-only event), or any other failure in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to: acts of God, strikes or other labour disturbances, equipment failures, power outages, delays in transportation, inability to obtain resources needed to produce an event, war, acts of terrorism or other violence, riots, epidemics, floods, fires, unusually severe weather conditions, accidents, life-threatening illnesses, or other contingencies the non-occurrence of which was a basic assumption on which the Submitter submitted a film.
Submitters and/or submitters must be a minimum of 16 years of age by the date of the festival’s opening night.
Submission fees are non-refundable for any films not accepted. Submission fees are also non-refundable for accepted films unless the entire festival is cancelled and no Program Guide and other online forms of film announcements are published, a highly unlikely set of circumstances.
Projects produced and/or directed by Festival organizers, sponsors and members are ineligible for screening as Official Selections and special events. Films that include Festival organizers, sponsors and members as hired actors are subject to the same restrictive policy.
