Şah (SHAH)

“Şah” (Shah), this is Turkish word and it’s used in chess. The title of Persian and Afghan rulers. Also, It means the King. Over time, it has been widely used in the Islamic world in the sense of sovereign.

This film is made without dialogue and face. The concept of the making of this film is very unique. Modern graphics and very old Indian folk dance(Chhau) are introduced in this film. We are trying to promote Chhau dance (Purulia’s) and convey a very strong message “Be aware of political cheaters in our society”.
The story of “Şah”
Common people always suffers from the political conspiracy, they just act like a pawn in a chess board whose movement is controlled by the higher authorities, common people fights over religions, resources, ethnicity, power, money etc.etc. and they think they are doing for a betterment, what that don’t realize how they become the part of a bigger conspiracy.
“Şah” is all about that, where common people fights to full fil some bigger conspiracy and clearly there is no winner or looser in this game, because by end of the day these main parties has their own settlement.
