Saffron Women
In Thailand Bhikkhuni (female monks) are not having the same status as male monks or no status at all. However there are few monasteries that still run by female monks. The documentary portrays 3 female novice monks in a neutral way not asking or fighting for any equal rights just to see what these women get from loosing everything including their hairs.
