Safe House
A young couple is pushed to their breaking point while living in an isolated cabin during a viral pandemic.
The first collaboration from writer and producer Esther Rogers and director Quaison Nangle, this short was completed only weeks before the COVID-19 outbreak. It is an eerily timely look at the impacts of isolation and the unknown on a relationship, set against a beautiful yet strangely oppressive Ontario lakeside.
