I started writing early on as a teenager, but nothing earth shattering until I feel in love with my high school sweetheart. I wrote a notebook full of poems! I recently published them in a book format early 2021. I wrote my first screenplay way back in 2018 but really didn't know where to go from there. I knew I wanted to make a film out of it for sure! Though I love to write, I was focusing on my acting career which started in the fall of 2016. Over the last few years, I've written a few more scripts about things that I've experienced firsthand as well as things that I conjured up.
I bring the human experience to life on the page! I trust in my keen instincts and insight to be able to make my audience feel what I'm feeling as I express it in words. I tend to stick to real life situations that center around drama, comedy, suspense, & thrillers. What makes me unique is my personal experiences with topics that we see every day in the news. Racism, hardship, PTSD, to name a few. Two people can see the same thing and walk away with two abstract accounts of what they saw or experienced. I have the ability to see or experience something and turn it into something worth seeing. As for my overall goal, I want to write for television and film! I also want to publish another book or two as well! I plan to write and produce my own films in the long run, but I'm certainly not against doing that now if that's what it takes to get started. People rarely give you a shot at success! You normally have to take it!
