SYNTOPIA:BEGA

The audiovisual essay focuses on the flora and fauna and its interaction with human activities within the widely ramified river and canal system Bega.
As rivers play a fundamental role in the location, economy and culture of cities, in our research we focused on the surroundings of Bega and it’s human and non-human inhabitants, particularly seeking inspiration and knowledge from the residents of these areas, for example the omnipresent fishing community along the river.
