  • We had such a great time at STUFF! Rob and his crew are all wonderful people who really made us feel like part of the family. Talking to them at the fest, you can tell they're actually invested in each of the films they selected. The vibe and atmosphere of the fest is geared toward fostering a community between independent filmmakers, and it felt like everyone in attendance was there to genuinely discover new indie cinema, rather than just cheer-leading their own films. All in all, one of my favorite festival experiences!

A hearty thank you to Mariella and Robert for screening my film, Gypsy Rose Leezinski--and for creating a supportive festival for independent filmmakers. I was treated respectfully, and there was excellent communication all around. And even though I was unable to attend STUFF, my lead actor attended and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I will definitely submit my next film to STUFF and urge all filmmakers to do so, as it's very much worth attending!

I am so thankful to Robert and Maria for putting on a beautifully curated week of films and events. I came all the way from NYC and was welcomed with immense southern hospitality. Thank you again for nominating and screening my film Plant Story, and all your hard work.
