Woutair has a strong feeling of aesthetics in film since he has watched more films than any external harddisk can hold. For him films are more than entertainment, they are a portal through emotions and life experiences, guided by the creator.
Working in both fields as director and cinematographer, he learned the technical and emotional aspects of film making.
Started out on the camera side, he has a trained eye for composition, movement and lighting. He loves to work with natural available light and practicals. Rather takes out light than brings it in. But always in favour of the mood and feeling of the story.
As a director he loves to capture emotional stories with a sense of realness. Mostly with less dialog as possible. For him, one well created frame with the right feeling, says more than a 1000 words.
