STAREMASTER II: The Rematch of The Decade
"STAREMASTER II: The Rematch of the Decade" begins with a legendary battle that ended in controversy. On October 4, 2004 on center stage… in front of an audience of hundreds in NYC, a record breaking moment in staring contest history was made when Will Lemon refused to blink for over 20 minutes until he was brutally crushed by the unflinching Staremaster Dave. In the blink of an eye, Staremaster Dave became the undisputed National Champion of the United States.
Since then Dave retired from competition, became a humble local legend and an underground hero. His victory went unchallenged for almost 10 years until an all expenses paid invitation came from Tokyo. A production team was requesting to produce the definitive World Championship battle with the undefeated Japanese champion, The Great Otowaya.
It was around this same time that a video - of an object being thrown on stage during the 2004 contest - was delivered by Will Lemon to the attention of the producers of The STAREMASTER Project. After carefully reviewing the tape and discussing the options, the officials concluded that the infraction was in direct violation of the rules. The evidence was considered valid. The complaint was judged worthy of a rematch.
So after 10 years of nothing happening, the lights and cameras return to focus on our ocular gladiators as we bring them face-to-face to go head-to-head in eye-to-eye combat… again, for the title of US Champion. This time it gets personal and people are really taking nothing very seriously.
In a world where "the longer nothing happens… the more dramatic it becomes" - we are excited to announce its finally time for the Rematch of the Decade!

In a STAREMASTER battle, the longer that "nothing" happens... the more dramatic it becomes. I have been taking nothing very seriously for over 20 years and feel like its finally time to make sense out of all of this nonsense... so with The Lost Tapes and 2002 Championship we go back to the beginning, to the first chapter of our trilogy, to the very origins of The Staremaster Project in the year 2000. After the miniseries, we already have 2 sequel films that create a narrative arc around the world that unfolds over 20 years, following the same group of international characters as we produce the grand finale! The spectacle of spectacles!! The moment we will all be waiting for when it finally happens... the Staremaster World Championship!!!
