An experimental film that grew out of the city symphony of St. Petersburg is the journey of Dante's Beatrice through a "modern" city in an equally "modern" country. It's about how reality projects its cruelty onto more subtle layers and how it denigrates even the most beautiful things. The only thing that is incapable of vice and contagion is Beatrice, her image not subject to natural reason, not molded into an adult, and thus saved from abomination. An experimental film shot on the expanses of St. Petersburg, showing the realities of the cultural capital of modern Russia. The protagonist - a girl (Dante's Beatrice) leads the viewer into purgatory, tearing him out of the space of humanity, taking him into metaphysics, into purity.
