Alternative Independent Film "The Sun Over Borisphen".
Inner world of a human and formation of a worldview take their start at the childhood. Human soul ‒ is a matrix which absorb in itself all heard and seen. First impressions transforms into images. The main character - a boy who gets older. At the same time, his dream ‒ girl from the past is following him in imagination. He draws her when became an artist. Artist as creator and spiritual leader imaginatively travels through the roads of space and time. The “prodigal son” theme gets a planetary scale. Traveler returns to parent's home and in imaginary back to to the sources cosmological understanding of the universe. Author - in a symbolic way invites the viewer to be a participant in the comprehension and creation of film.
The Biblical theme of the crucifixion becomes catastrophic for humanity on the scale of earthly civilization. It is not just destruction of one person for the light of the Truth, but destruction of earth civilization. The viewer feels pernicious course of human self-destruction as catastrophe of the hole planet. Matter passes into cosmic dust, which is irradiated by cosmic light and then transforms again and returns to Earth. There is interaction between earth and heaven, as male and female principles, identified with the "immaculate conception."
The artist's dream is to meet a woman from his fantasies which gave him creation impulse. He meets her in his old age. Meets a young girl from his dreams whose image came to him only in visions. The artist paints her! Spiritual act emanates between the artist and the girl, which becomes the culmination of the immaculate conception, faith in the renewal of the world and immortality.
