Three of the most crucial life decisions at every stage of our life like the choice to pick a passionate path, choice of our life partner, choice to do a desired profession. The story revolves around Sriram, ageing from his school time till he grows old. All these crucial choices come in his way.
In all such decisions, the Character Society plays an influencing element, which in a way decides the path we pursue.
The voice of Society, supports as well as discourages. Society also changes its stand in time and toggles its suggestions. This short film takes the Society as a single character which also travels in the lifeline of Sriram.
Starting with the Passion, where the Society intervenes in favor and against the wish of Sriram. Similarly, when it comes to choosing his life partner, the Society character does the same in favor and against role & finally on when it comes to shifting his profession, Society again impacts. All of these interventions only lead Sriram to a lifestyle which is not his will. He is forced to accept for the sake of Society.
At a junction, with more stress & insults, he rewinds and realizes how much has this Society took over his life from him and crushes all those words and ideas which was pushed on to him. He takes a bold move, which over a time led him to become a successful film director.
The screenplay keeps the audience guess who the Society character is, as it will be revealed at the core end, that the role is nothing but Society. The screenplay also follows a shift from color to black & white. The colors show the positive support of Society while the black & white negative or exploiting phase of Society. The film leads to a strong message that one must follow what his heart says and not get influenced by other ideas.
