SLEEP WELL

On the ongoing development of my work as a dancer and choreographer, I have begun to use video as a direct and simple means of communication.
Video has taken an increasingly important role in my work, to the extent that I now use it as a form of personal feedback, with it acting as a kind of “second partner” ; a subtle “second voice” guiding me to listen to deeper feelings not accessible through movement alone.

I’m an Italian choreographer and performer currently living in Berlin.
I graduated from the National Dance Academy of Rome and attended the Accademia Isola Danza in Venice under the direction of Carolyn Carlson.
As a dancer and performer I worked at the Centre Coreographique National de
Roubaix (2005-2013) under the direction of Carolyn Carlson and since 2014 I’m a member of Carolyn Carlson Company, I have also worked with the choreographers : Johann Kresnik (G), Paola Bianchi (I), Tanz Atelier Wien (A), Art Mouv (F), Sosta Palmizi (I), Aldes- Roberto Castello (I).
In 1995 I was awarded as a best performer at the International Dance Competition Città di Rieti and Vignale Danza.
As a choreographer and performer I created dance pieces “Non Trascuro”, “Don't crash in case of fire”, “Dritter Raum" and “Holy skin&Lazy Bastard”.
In 2016 I was Artist in Residence for a year-long project with the Laurenz Haus Foundation in Basel, during which time I created “Convergence” - a multidisciplinary project with video, music and dance.
