Fajar Nugros is a socially conscious filmmaker based in Jakarta, Indonesia, who has been making films with a unique blend of thought-provoking and entertaining. His portfolio includes acclaimed works such as "Moammar Emka's Jakarta Undercover," "Terbang Menembus Langit," and the Javanese language comedy sensation, "Yowis Ben." This comedy hit became a franchise, solidifying Nugros' standing as a formidable force in comedy filmmaking.
After creating successful comedies, including "Srimulat: Hil Yang Mustahal," a film about Indonesia's top comedy group, and "Balada Si Roy," a teen drama based on a legendary novel, Nugros decided to try something new.
