We are working to source prizes, but the contest is free so prizes are not guaranteed.


SIK TABLE READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS (The term script and screenplay will be used interchangeably).

1. We reserve the right to void any entry which does not comply with our terms and conditions.
2. You must be over 18 to enter this competition.
3. Submissions are open from the 30-9-20/midnight 18-10-10.
4. Writers may not submit scripts which have already been broadcast, this includes audio broadcast and online broadcasts. Writers may not submit scripts which have already placed in other screenplay contests.
5. Writers maintain the rights to their screenplays. Writers provide their consent for their name, likeness, photographs, and other relevant personal information to be shared for promotional purposes across all media platforms without additional compensation to the prizes advertised. By entering this competition, you acknowledge that you consent to these terms and conditions. You agree that no malicious or other legal claims will be brought against Scriptisking, SIK productions or any of our contributors, staff members, sponsors, affiliates, and affiliated companies (collectively ‘the parties’). You agree all claims, expenses, and liability, including but not limited to damages and negligence to property and persons, including but not limited to invasion of privacy, defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, copyright, infringement of trademark or other intellectual property rights relating to a participant’s entry, participation in the competition and/or acceptance or use or misuse of prize; provided however, that such release will not apply to any commercial exploitation of the script by said party in violation of your rights under applicable copyright law.
6. Employees, relatives, family members, and friends are ineligible to enter this contest.
7. Writers who have earned more than £10,000 from screenplay earnings are ineligible to enter this competition.
8. Writers may only submit one entry.
9. Entrants agree that the judge’s decision is final. No arguments will be entered into. Entrants agree not to contact or harass any of the affiliates; entrants will not submit unsolicited work to SIK or any other of our affiliates.
10. Screenplays should be no longer than 6 pages, not including title page. They should aim to finish by the fifth page, the sixth page is for any spill over; the ten percent rule applies. Entrants should avoid trying to cram lots of description and dialogue within the script to cheat the page count.
11. Submissions must be made in industry standard screenplay format. (Links to free software).

12. Submissions should not contain any personal details, and should only be made via the submission form (Link).

13. All entries must be the writers own work (for co-writing teams only one person may submit with the consent of all parties involved).

14. You must be a resident in the UK to enter this competition. All entrants must be written in English.

15. Submissions may be made across any of these four genres or combination of two: Comedy, Drama, Horror or thriller.

16. No resubmissions are allowed for this competition.

17. For a submission to be validated all of our terms and conditions must be adhered to.

18. Entrants must complete an equal opportunities form, this will be separated from your application form.

19. Deadlines will be in GMT.

20. SIK Productions and our affiliates will distribute the prizes using an external third party; we accept no responsibility for how the prize is distributed between writing teams.

21. Once you consent to our terms and conditions and submit your screenplay you are releasing your screenplay to us and agreeing not to bring any claim against SIK productions and the parties.

22. Prize winners will be requested to sign a disclosure agreement which validates their eligibility as a contestant.

23. SIK productions will do their best to ensure that our sponsors deliver any prizes, but we accept no liability for any failure, on their part, to act.
