Director Biography - gregorio

We were born in the Great Basin mountain peaks of the western North America. Wild rivers, blue lakes, snowy peaks, vast meadows blooming with wild flowers. The sublime & the adventure.
Loni is director of photography. Gregorio does the edits, sound, & the heavy lifting. We are two originals. We are fogata films.
Zero institutional funding gives us an obvious advantage...we are dedicated to defending Mother Earth without bank influence..

Director Statement

Organizing Indigenous pueblos, in consensus, begins the work process. When we eat, dance, sing in a comunidad that defines the work day. A minga is without pay! Beast & human participates equally. Chi-cha is consumed, seemingly endless.
We are not here to tell anyone 'how to live' or 'what to do'. We listen, get materials & go to work! That is 'our' role. '
The American Indigenous are the only legitimate populations whom will defend Pachamama!
The pedantic, assaultive Christians robbed culture. They terrorized sacred lands & welcomed industrialists. The bankers.
We found sanctuary & earth connection in these comunidades. A safe, instinctual womb to raise our son peacefully without the 'god of technology'. SHUAR ‘Sendero de Vida’ is a lifestyle choice, not just a documentary film.
