SERPARI
On May 1st, in Cocullo, Italy, we witnessed one of the most peculiar rituals in the Mediterranean dedicated to snakes and San Domenico abbot.
A very special and multitudinous religious ritual, where love and respect for snakes reaches its maximum expression.
Guided by the Serpari, we will observe how the Serpent, symbol and origin of all sins transmutes into love and union with all living beings of nature.
"Serpari" from the outside and "Los Empalaos" from the private, are the first two documentaries of the series "Rituals", an intense and suggestive journey of certainties and uncertainties.
