Taina Martinez, 25 years old, was born and raised in Seattle, WA. At the age of 17, Taina graduated high school early and embarked to New York City to pursue her passion for cinema. A self-starter, Taina taught herself editing and shooting. She has shot videos for artists such as MT EDEN, NERVO, and MANDY MOORE to name a few. In addition, she has edited and concept directed videos for Youtube sensation @JackieAina, and helped develop more story driven content for her 3+ Million subscribers. Taina worked client services at Jack Studios, a frequent creative space for Kanye West. With a lot of hard work and a positive attitude, she transitioned into freelancing full-time for both Commercial and TV production. She recently moved to Los Angeles, where she became a Production Coordinator at a digital advertising agency in Downtown Los Angeles. She is currently in Post-Production for her debut short film, ARANEA - A film based upon the psychological effects of human trafficking. With 4 years of experience in all stages of production, Taina excels at leadership and demonstrates a complete aptitude for directing.
Through my coursework and real-life experiences, I have developed the drive to learn as much as possible to continue my creative development and professional growth.
