Would Be - SERIA

"SERIA" is a film by Sophi Saphirah. From conception to completion, there was not interference from anyone. It is a journey in poetic time of a fictional narrative built through the editing of autobiographical footage from 2016 to 2019. Subjectivities that can generate identifications, dealing with existential questions and crossed by a discovery of self, also based on a transgender experience and rediscovery. The language of authorial creation is developed through the flow of free musical thoughts or the attempt to liberate them. The various emotional situations, altered and diverse states of consciousness, allow clippings of dozens of hours of footage that are essential for building the story and character of the film within the desired purpose. It is part of a series of films entitled "Rascunho Perpetuante" (''Perpetual Draft'').
