Jimenez was born in 1994 in Tucson, Arizona. Like many first generation Mexican-Americans, Jimenez chose to place his dreams on hold in order to support the family that raised him. At the age he would have graduated from film school, Sergio started his own business with a concealed agenda: using it as a vehicle for his artistic endeavors. Film school, and the connections that could've have been, did not prevent Jimenez from self-educating in preparation for opportunity. He is an actor training through Stanislavski's method, a developing writer, and ambitious director.

After his fourth year in business he managed to save up enough money to green light and fund his own script. In 2022 he completed that short film that he wrote titled “Man in a Maze”— in which he also starred in, produced, directed, and edited. Jimenez currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona where he runs his roofing company, trains as an actor, and continues writing.
