SERENITY

Growing up in a child headed family where he was the family head Bonny had never known what it feels like to be loved. So, when he falls in love with Jenny and discovers what it means to be cared for, he is so excited and lost in her magic. But this does not last forever because he fails to balance between caring for his demanding girlfriend and caring for his siblings. This leads to a breakup which in term leads him to addiction to alcohol and drugs. He must fight his way out.

Director Biography - Bonny Olem Olot, Sadiq Mugisha

Olot Bonny Olem is a Ugandan Actor/Writer and Director who has been active in film since 2006. He graduated from Makerere University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Social Administration. In 2016 he participated in the Acting Master Class at the Berlinale Talents Campus in Berlin Germany where he was awarded a certificate of Attendance.
Bonny has been a part the production of numerous music videos, short films, feature films, radio dramas and a TV series, mostly as an actor. He has worked with most of the outstanding film production houses in Uganda like DEDDAC, Atonga Media, BADI, Ivizualz, Swangz Avenue and Fenon Records. He has worked with award winning Ugandan directors like Ayeny T. Steve, Donald Mugisha and Bashir Lukyamuzi among others.
Some of the Most Outstanding Film Projects that Bonny has worked on include: 1. KAMPALA (TV Series) 2021 as an Actor and Locations Manager. 2. MISUNDERSTOOD (Short Film) 2020 as an Actor. 3.
