Director Statement

The idea came at the beginning of the novel Flores in the Attic by C. Andrews whose incestuous love story transformed my perspective, and then added the successful film The Gladiator of Ridley Scott that shows us in part the delirium of an emperor who wishes to his sister and with whom he wants to procreate children of pure blood, from here my doubt was born about what love is and what is sacred. This was what left me with the interest of making a brief history of incestuous love, forbidden, but full of sensations. The filming came from the same essays, with a revolutionary photographic proposal of natural light, this experimental mode immersed the entire team in a kind of bubble in which everyone allowed themselves to be taken at the beginning of the action. Without fear of exaggeration the result was totally satisfactory.
