SEE ME_ Episode 1_ Please Give Me My ARVs
The episode follows a young girls struggle to get to a pharmacy to access her ARV’s. Roadblocks had been set up as a preventative measure around Zimbabwe, this way only those deemed essential workers were able to get past them. However many who were not, and simply needed to get access to medical centers for chronic medication, which did not come with a doctors letter to ensure passage, faced challenges. Most were turned away, some did not find a way around this.

See me is a collaborative effort from 5 friends who decided to creatively tell a story. It's based on research, about the hardship HIV Positive young people went through during COVID-19 lockdown in Zimbabwe. The flow from film to dance was an interesting experience for all of us. We hope this film helps shed light on how we treat each other.
