SEDOV vs THE PERFECT STORM
At the beginning of 2020, the Russian bark “Sedov” was somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. The largest sailing ship had departed to make a trip around the world in honor of the 200th anniversary of discovering Antarctica. According to the plan for the expedition, the “Sedov” was meant to organize an “open ship” in foreign ports. However, the “perfect storm” began: the world was hit by the first wave of the coronavirus…
A documentary film in the form of a videoblog – a spontaneous creative collaboration between the author and midshipmen.
Dedicated to the 100-year anniversary of the bark “Sedov.”

I am a graduate of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Pedagogical University. During my graduate work in astronomy, I watched the stars and dreamed of traveling. As a result, I started working in the news and making documentaries. I visited Mongolian yurts, an Indian ashram, a march of French prostitutes and even got to the North Pole. And one day I found myself in the cabin of pilots and filmed them in flight on an iPhone. For "The Road to the Clouds" I received the TV award "TEFI".
