Director Biography

André Rodrigues is a young 23 years old filmmaker. Since an early age he wanted to follow a career in cinema. This passion grew up since he received a camera from his father when he was 10. Since then, he made as many shorts as he could possible do. His favorite genre is suspense/horror/sci-fi. In 2017, he decided to make a Youtube channel where he would upload his short films. Nowadays, he's studying cinema in London with the intent to become a film director.

Director Statement

In December of 2019, I had the idea of making a short film about a girl who is searching for a loved one. However, my biggest problem with that idea was that I didn't know where it would lead to. As such, I tried to build the idea by thinking about the locations I could get to shoot, I thought about an old building that would be nice to be the major location of the short film. With that, I unlocked myself and I finished the first draft.
