Writer Statement

I write for women who are confused, women who are upset, and women who have been told their entire lives that women are not funny. I use humor in my work because it's my favorite way to enter into conversations about these extremely difficult social topics without bumming everyone out. I also think that the only way to entice most people into listening to a woman is to make them laugh until they cry.
