Director Biography - Jade Higgs

With a 7-year history in writing, directing and cinematography/camera operating, Jade is now a proud member of the ACS, representing Tasmania in the Australian Cinematography Society.

A self-taught Filmmaker with a lifetime of experience as a musician, he always knew he could give more as an artist. This led him to break away from music and start his own production company Jade and Eden Productions. Covering a large genre of clientele, this is Jade's full-time occupation and platform.

With a commitment to the craft, Jade owns a range of cine gear and equipment. This includes the RED V Raptor, a Cine Sigma and Cine vintage lens kit, multiple gimbal configurations for specific cameras, a Steadicam and a lighting kit.

Young in his career, the intention is clear to create and work with larger productions on shorts, TV series and feature films.

Director Statement

The SAVAGE HONEY Moonlove film clip is close to my heart as one of the main actors is my sister. As the band's first film clip, I wrote, captured and created this theatrical piece that holds a mixture of drama, romance and comedy.
