The International Children's and Youth Film Festival "SALAM" established in 2019, takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan. This is a festival in which Azerbaijani teenagers and teenagers from all over the world between the ages13 and 17 participate. Over the course of several days , participants watch together new talented international feature and animation films for their age category, participate in master classes and make their first short film in groups. Teenagers - participants are also the main jury of the festival and , based on the results of screenings , choose the winning film. The goals of the festival are to introduce teenagers to the art of cinema , to show films created for them , but also cultural exchange and friendship between teenagers from different countries.

2) Jury special award ;
3) Special award from the festival organizers.

Rules & Terms

The films should not be shorter than 45 minutes (does not apply in Azerbaijani competition). No premiere requirement.
Eligible formats are 35 mm and 16 mm film, DCP, Blu-ray and DVD.
Send link to salamfest@narimanfilm.az or DVD with submitted film by mail. The entry form must be accompanied by a dialogue list, in English, by some stills, posters and further press material, as well as a short biography, a filmography and a photo of the film's director and producer.
