Ryan Gomes is a Cape Verdean/American director born in Maine and raised in Rhode Island. He attended an arts high school in Pawtucket Rhode Island and later the University of Rhode Island for filmmaking. He is also a Veteran of the National Guard where he was an aircraft mechanic on Blackhawk helicopters.
