Patagonian - Apenninic Routes
"Rutas PatagonApenninicas" is a shared experiment in participatory digital storytelling of an international comparative research project between extensive pastoralism and transhumance paths (UNESCO intangible heritage) in the Central-Southern Italian Apennines and in the transhumance and wandering pasture routes of Argentine Patagonia. The realization of the digital experiment is entrusted to Arena Documenta, a Patagonian digital documentation agency (www.arenadocumenta.com). The project and the visual experiment are coordinated by: Prof. Letizia Bindi, University of Molise and by Paula Gabriela Nunez, Universidad de Rio Negro, Argentinian Patagonia. Other Italian professors are involved: Angelo Belliggiano, Maria Laura Carranza, Lorenza Paoloni, Fabio Pilla as well as other researchers from Universities and INTA in Argentina, like Carolina Lara Michel and Marcos Easdale. All the documents are based on interviews and cooperation with shepherds and walkers along the sheeptracks recorded during the research.
