Rusty Brown is a writer, animator, director of short videos, based in Niagara Falls, Ontario. A creative animator, his unique style combines the look of cutouts and collage with surreal mannerist styles. Often quirky and humorous, he creates complex dynamic sequences using an Adobe production pipeline — Illustrator, Photoshop, Animator, After Effects and Premier Pro.

His work features original sound design and music production. Brown's latest animated short, "Merry Christmas Blues," will be released in November, 2024.

Brown is currently animating two new music projects, "Set in Stone" and "First of July." His animated short "Toonscape" won a Royal Reel award from the Canada International Film Festival in 2011.
