Running for the Boundary Waters
Alex Falconer, a Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness advocate, ran 110 miles through the heart of the Boundary Waters to draw attention to the threat sulfide-ore copper mining poses to this Wilderness. He was joined by professional elite trail runners Clare Gallagher and Kyle Pietari as well as other friends and local trail runners. This was the first known time anyone has run the "Boundary Waters Traverse."
